We are an organization of independently operated dojos (Karate Schools) that are dedicated to the promotion of the art of Goju Ryu Karate-do in Canada.
With so many years of experienced instruction, the Canada Goju Karate Association has developed a proven martial arts curriculum for adults and children. Learning respect for others is the foundation of building positive life habits through karate training.
Students may also discover improved physical fitness, increased mental focus and strengthened self-confidence while learning valuable self-defense skills.
At Canada Goju Karate Dojo we teach men, women and children from the ages of 4 to 80 years. The dojo offers the martial arts of Goju-ryu Karate, street style self-defense and Kubodo (weapons). We train Non-Contact Karate stressing respect for your fellow students.
Some of the benefits of training at Canada Goju Karate Dojo are physical strengthening, toning and flexibility of the body, mental discipline, confidence and developing the “YES I CAN DO IT” concept. Another concept the dojo specializes in is breath awareness. Implicit in this is teaching proper breathing methods to cleanse, strengthen and tap the mystic energy (ki) of life force.
